Leones players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by the former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991, agency: Interperformances) who scored that evening 23 points and naturalized Nicaraguan Jared Ruiz (188-1992) supported him with 18 points. Five Leones players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by American power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) did not help to save the game for Indios . His fellow American import point guard Alex Hamilton (193-1993, college: La Tech, agency: SLN) added 17 points and 8 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
